The Parish Church of St Thomas of Canterbury, Goring on Thames
For everyone (especially young people) who would like to play the organ but have never tried. Learn about the organ and how it works, and have a go on a splendid, newly-refurbished 3-manual instrument. Open to all who have reached Grade 5 standard on the piano. Numbers are limited so everyone has a chance to try the organ: apply early!
COST: Adults (aged 18+) £10, others £5, to include drinks (tea/coffee/squash) but not lunch - bring your own. Drinks will be available from 10.00 am. The workshop starts at 10.30.
MUSIC is provided, but you can bring your own if you wish (e.g. Grade 2 or 3 piano pieces).
SHOES: Flat shoes with thin soles are best for playing the pedals. Trainers are not suitable!
